My Story
Fiona is a qualified exercise physiologist, sports scientist, nutritionist, and wellness coach with over 30 years' experience in all aspects of health and fitness in Australia and the USA including; corporate health, clinical exercise physiology, applied sports science, university lecturing and research, fitness industry coaching and instructor training, international conference presenting, and as a TV health and fitness expert and author.
Through many years of experience helping people live healthier lives, Fiona recognises that simply knowing about, wanting or wishing for a healthy lifestyle doesn't make it happen. Neither does an 'expert' telling you exactly what to do. Changing behaviour is essential to achieving and maintaining goals in health, wellness and performance.
Fiona is currently undertaking PhD research at NICM Health Research Institute and Western Sydney University in Exercise Science and Behavioural Psychology - lifestyle medicine and mental health (2023 completion) and teaches Health Psychology, Exercise and Sports Science and Nutrition at University.
As a competitive equestrian, Fiona consults in equestrian sports - more here.
